The Same Odds
In theory, tracking online baccarat hand histories seems like it could work. After all, if the banker wins 5 hands in a row, it seems highly probable that the player would win the next hand. So those who track baccarat hands would bet on the player for the next hand(s) because it’s logical that the player would win based on previous results.
But the problem with this is that previous results of online baccarat hands have nothing to do with future results. Just because the banker won five hands in a row does not mean that the banker’s hand won’t win again. Every baccarat hand is its own entity, and the odds remain the same no matter what occurred in the past. So the banker could win the next 10 hands thus making hand tracking useless.
Should you still Track Hands?
Seeing as how the odds remain the same on every new online baccarat hand, it seems like tracking hands is a futile act. But this isn’t to say that you should totally stop tracking hands if it adds enjoyment to the game. Tracking hands is a lot like a system in that it brings excitement to baccarat, and gives you something new to try instead of just wagering on the banker every hand. However, if you’re looking at hand tracking as a magic solution to beating the game of online baccarat, then you are using hand tracking for the wrong reasons.
